• How is this different from a traditional caricature artist?
    • Caricature art has been around for a very long time.  In those years we've seen very minimal advances in the art form even though digital technology has grown tremendously.  Stumbling onto this method by distorting my face to make my wife and kids laugh, I wanted to see how much I could push it with all of the incredible digital software we have at our disposal today.  After creating hundreds of these caricatures I've been able to refine the process and deliver a final caricature in less than 3 minutes.  Compared to a traditional caricature artist, this means that you'll get a lot more finished images for your investment.  We also have the ability to create more of your guests caricatures even after your event is over.  As long as your guest lets us take their picture we'll have the option to create a caricature portrait from it even if time runs out at your event.  Additional caricature portraits can be purchased in quantities of 25, 50 and 100.  See the add-on section of the Pricing page for more information.
  • When should we book?
    • As soon as you can.  Popular wedding months will fill up fast while popular Holiday event dates will also fill up fast.  All that is required is a 50% retainer.
  • What is the turn around time for the images taken at our event?
    • Your images will be uploaded to the provided gallery within about 24 hours.
  • What's the footprint of your setup?
    • Our setup is about 8.5'x 8'.  The editing station doesn't have to be at the photography station so we can utilize different setups.
  • Can this booth be outdoors?
    • It depends on if there are power outlets available and if it's in a semi enclosed space. Patios work on most occasions but we definitely prefer to be out of the unpredictable Texas winds.  A minimum of 2 power outlets are required to run the Caricature booth.  The setup consists of 4 studio lights 1 iMac computer, a printer (add-on) and a projector/HDTV (add-on).
  • Do you offer a payment plan?
    • Yes we do!  We can split up payments into 2 payments with the total due before the event date.
  • How far do you travel?
    • We travel all over the country and even for destination weddings.  Travel fees do apply.  Call us for a quote.
  • What time will you be there for setup?
    • We will usually arrive an hour to an hour and a half before the event starts.
  • How long will it take you to break down?
    • Around 30 minutes
  • Do you shoot any other type of photography?
    • We shoot a few select weddings each year and we also specialize in corporate event photography. We also do family and kid shoots as well as our world famous Texas Portrait Booth.  Check out each of them at our main website HERE
  • Where do we go to get our images?
    • We upload the images as we complete them  to your custom gallery.  A beautiful custom guest card is created for your event with the location of the images.  Each guest participating in the Caricature Booth will receive a card.  Just go to the web address located on the card and download directly to your phone, computer or tablet and share away!
